    Hi Folks,

Been reading and reading on here...and need some definite answers! Hopefully enough time has passed that some consensus has emerged...

I have a 2011 Prius II (gen 3). It does NOT have navigation NOR a JBL sound system. The head unit is satellite ready but does NOT have a receiver attached (to my knowledge).

Can I use this item [PT545-00082] and simply have my iPod/iPhone connected to the head unit with steering wheel control? (i.e. will it work?)

Also, if it will work...I'm assuming in order to install the cable, it requires removal of the head unit? I'm wondering if there is any void-space/access to the area behind the head unit without disassembly of the dash...since it is a simple single-plug item. I do realize the glovebox has to come out.

    Thanks for your input!
