    I have a 2012 v, Model 5, no ATP.

When my Ipod Touch is hardwired via USB, the music stops playing after 15 seconds. If I switch sources and switch back to Ipod, everythinng is OK. This only happens when first powering on the car. Anyone experience this? I noticed this happening after having the latest entune update at dealer about 3 months ago.
Ipod will play normally via bluetooth however.

Hopefully there are a few out there who still use iPods!!

No replies. Don't have an answer myself. I use an iPod (Touch).

One test would be to turn off the Bluetooth then reconnect the USB. Go through a car start/stop cycle a few times and see if that fixed the problem. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that the system is confused between if it should use the USB connection or the Bluetooth connection.

Make sure your vehicle's head unit is running current version of Entune.
Details here; Entune Update | PriusChat
Post #6 has links to Entune 3.2, eventually.

    Running entune 3.2.

    Any other guesses?

Have you tried waiting more than 15 seconds to plug in the iPod? My head unit can take a bit of time to fully boot up, and Bluetooth streaming doesn't start from my phone until about that long after I start the car.

I usually leave the ipod plugged into the USB port all the time......bluetooth on the ipod is turned off. Odd thing is this problem only started happening after the entune 3.2 update by the dealer.
