I called our favorite local tire place to ask about tires for my '05. They recommend Ironman tires.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with these that they would be willing to share? Thanks!

Strangely, the "Tony Stark" tire was recommended for me.
Incredibly low rolling resistance, touchy in the corners, and needs to be constantly inflated.

I'm not familiar with them. It looks like they are specifically referring to "Ironman iMove" made by the "Hercules" tire company. See:
Performance Tire Gallery | Hercules Tires

The company describes them as being "low rolling resistance" but I'd prefer to get something more definite about fuel economy (Crr measurements or other Prius owner reviews) before trying them.

Yes, I was hoping to get more info from the members here too! The tire company here is the local Marin "favorite" whom virtually everyone goes to for their knowledge and reliability, prices too.

So, still waiting. Any folks used these Hercules iMove Ironmans?

Go with a more mainstream known tire. Michelin Hydroedge, Goodyear TTread's, Kumho's, etc. Millions of tire posts with reviews here. Lots of known good tires not necessary to gamble your time & money on tire selection.

Been here 6 years never heard of IronMan. Which means I wouldn't even consider it. I know tires.

Got a used prius with these, constant inflating needed and got flats easy. What are the recommended tirez for a prius? Ill just replace them all.
