Might have a chance to buy a Gen 2 battery pack for $200. The risks, besides the usual unknowns, is that it was removed from the car and has just been collecting dust anywhere from 3-5 years. Can modules that have been sitting idle for that long still be recovered properly conditioned and balanced? Want to know if there's at least a chance that I might be able to get it working, otherwise I'm paying $200 to get a hazardous disposal problem.

You can revive it just fine, but you need to do so very gradually and do lots of reconditioning...

Thanks. The guy stopped responding to emails so might have lost the chance. Reconditioning means cycling the modules through the charging and discharging process?
