Ok, you made laugh hard enough to snort cereal milk out my nose. I hope you're happy now. Go choke on a vegemite sandwich :D

yep, any Prius buyer just needs to man up and get whatever color you prefer.

Personally, I think ALL of the 2010 colors are man colors. Speaking as a chick, I'd much prefer a color like a pale silvery blue. I don't mean to step on any toes here, but it looks to me like Toyota chose their colors from a box of 8 crayons.

Mission acomplished. Very happy, yummy Vegemite!! (tip, spread it thin on buttered bread. Thin enough to see through.)

Last week I made a guy squirt red wine from his nose, this week cerial and milk.
Maybe next week I can get someone to snort out nuts or chocolate?

Exactly. The Prius is just not a manly car. Be man enough to face it. At least it doesn't come in silver pine mica anymore. Now that's a chick color if ever there was one.

Blizzard Pearl was my pic. See it clean in the morning sun and it WILL make your mind up. It's my wife's car but she has only driven it around a parking lot so far.

Yes, it's a perfect chick color. So when you buy it and your friends laugh at you, just give it to me. :D

P.S. Please get the solar roof package. Thanks.

Well I don't have exactly the SAME concern, but I hear ya a bit. I am 34 and chose BLACK for my 2008 Touring mostly b/c it made the VERY non-sporty Prius look as sporty as it could look (which isn't very sporty). I had a lot of the same concerns this time around, but after seeing the Blizzard Pearl first hand and seeing pics of it in Package V I have chosen to go with Blizzard Pearl.

I have my name on a Black Pkg V that's coming in at the end of June though, so I'm not a Blizzard Pearl believer for sure! :) I still would rather have Blizzard Pearl, but if the waiting game gets too unbearable I have a fear I may give in and buy the Black with my name on it. WE SHALL SEE!

I think it looks especially SWEET in these pics ... not girly at all.

I gotta take a closer look at an actual car with this color to get the feel. Is this a metallic color? Some of the close-up pics shows this as a metallic.

It does seem to be a bit metallic, but not overly so. It's definitely pearl-like ... almost takes on a slight tan hue in bright light, but not really. When it comes to pearl white colors, it manages to still be definitely white compared to other autos I see with Pearl White paint. It's kind of perplexing when I try to pin the color down in my mind. It definitely white, but not overly bright.

I know all that I posted was just confusing as heck.

Check out a Highlander or Venza in person ... or even any Lexus is Starfire Pearl (to me the Toyota Blizzard Pearl w/a different name) to get an idea.

I saw a Subaru with this paint on it and the best description I can think of is that it had an oil on water look to it but not exactly a rainbow effect.
I think the Prius is similar but not certain.

I must admit that I drove that Light Aqua Metallic Opalescent(LOL) Gen. 1 for six years before selling it last week and it wasn't exactly a "chick mobile", but hey, when I bought it, there were NO used Prii in LA (2003).

I did see a lot of women driving that same color, but then one day I glanced over to my left to see the same colored car with a beaming, biker-bearded dude and everything was a-ok after that.

    RK

(feeling like LA, #1 Hybrid City in the USA, has been ignored by Toyota this time around)

Starfire Pearl has a different code and it's a LOT more pearly than Blizzard Pearl. Just imagine Rick's upclose shot that's visible from the 2nd story of a building (assuming the car's in direct sunlight). It's that obvious.

Yep, you can see the pearlized effect from 100 feet away.

I never associated pearlized white with any gender.

Instead, prior to the Prius I associated it with luxury because, notwithstanding its commoner roots (Mitsubishi), I had seen pearl white almost exclusively on luxury cars like Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Cadillac.

I didn't think they looked that different honestly, but what do I know obviously?

hahahaha... they don't. They're both pearly. It's just that I think Starfire goes overboard =P.
