Is it possible to obtain driving speed history from my Prius' onboard computer? Or even information that would show the highest speed every driven? If this isn't feasible, can anyone recommend a device that could be used to track and record driving speed history?

I received a speeding ticket (first ever). According to officer, she visually observed a white car at night traveling at a high rate of speed. No other supporting evidence. I was on a crowded interstate, and was almost run down by a small white car. Officer stopped the vehicle she could catch...me in my hybrid.

The only recorded speed is the average mph since the last trip reset.

You can capture the maximum speed on a Scan Guage.

Road Safety used to manufacture a device for monitoring teen driving habits that would track speed, seatbelt use and g-force for truns and braking, but I just checked on www.roadsafety.com, and it looks like maybe they don't marked to parents anymore. May want to call them.
