Is it a waste of money/oil to change oil every 2500 miles (or should I add oil)....Burning oil ???

    1/2-quart is not too bad. But I would start using Mobil-1 5W-30 HIgh Mileage formula if I wanted to reduce that. 5000 mile is the interval, I will go over that but usually not as much as 10000.
