Is it better to wait a few years before getting the PHV?

    May be I'm not the right guy to be advicing on this ... but - you should get a PHEV right away. In a few years you should an get an EV ... if you aren't ready for it now.

    Well, you are the right guy with the right advice. You are a smart guy, 'cause you could have told him to ignore his wife's advice, LOL. I was thinking of my own plan as I began to read his quote. I intend to get a plug in hybrid now and don't look back at hybrids or gas cars. After that, it is my hope to get an EV with a decent range(Tesla model S), recharging stations available everywhere, fast charging in about 20 minutes.
