    That's telling how much the industry "Octane-washed" us into focusing only in a few attribute of the performance, isn't it?

    If you see the latest Ads you'll see them focusing only on the highway MPG.

    Yes, but they don't call it "performance'. I just commented that IndyKing's use of the term was common usage. He made it clear how he was using it. To get into an argument over this is a distraction from the main point of this thread.

    Can someone point me to a post/announcement which provides details on the changes expected later this year?

    I delayed buying a 09 Touring last year, instead waiting for the 2010 model. I can possibly delay purchase until the late fall, but want to have a better understanding of the upcoming changes so I can decide whether its worth the inconvenience/risk of keeping my 95 Geo Prism for another four months!
