I have read a couple of articles about how China and India are trying to build up a minimum 30 strategic oil reserve and how this too has effected the markets at this time.

China is looking at 100 mil barrels by 2010.

Have to laugh at the congressional hearings after what I read about how Greenspan pulled the wool over their eyes.

I do have to say that I have never put more than about $20 to $25 in my Prii so far. That would be more about 300 miles a week. Thats $100 month maybe when I was spending $700 month for gas to drive the Expedition!

At whatever price of gas my Prii is a joy forever!

The Highest I ever paid for a Full tank of gas was $33. Of course, the other day, the news was at a gas station in our local area with the headline reading "Gas at $2.99/gal." I Almost pulled in Just so that I could be on TV just having to clean our windshields... It Would have been FUNNY!

Is it just me, or has the rate of decrease in gasoline prices started to level off ? I remember when gasoline was falling ten cents a day (or so it seemed), and now it seems like it's only dropping a penny every few days. At least, that's what I *seem* to be observing. Anyone else notice this ?

The price here has just gone up 10 cents AU per litre.
I expect it will go down again over the next week as the price resumes the normal weekly discount cycle.
It is normal in Adelaide for the price to jump 10 cents then slowly drop before rising again in a 10 cent jump.
Rest assured, the economy is struggling globally.

Paid $1.31/gal yesterday, but it has been that price for the past 4 or 5 days.
