Is there a consensus on which phone mount is the best with this model?

This is the one I use. Both ac vents are still adjustable.

I just bought a Nimbus mount. Love It! Super easy to install and I think it's a perfect location.

I ended up getting one like this, but with dual magnets. It connects via the CD player, which I have no use for anyway.

I'm having an issue with the magnet - when it lay the phone down horizontally, the screen automatically turns off. I suspect this issue persists with any other magnet style phone clip.

The phone has a magnetic sensor designed so that closing a case will shut off the screen. You've adhered the steel plate on your phone too close to this position.

To prove my theory, try using your phone horizontally in the opposite orientation (upside-down from the horizontal orientation you use). The phone will slip down a bit and the magnetic trigger won't engage.

I second the nimbus mount. After trying several different kinds of phone holders for a while, I am still happy with this one and it doesn't take up any vent or windshield space.:)

One thing about the ProClip design.......

The phone slides down a track, and then the USB female of the phone mates with the USB male of the holder at the bottom of the track.

The USB male on my ProClip was pretty snug in / snug out when connecting to the phone, but I didn't think anything about it, I liked that it was being held secure.

Over time, I started to notice that other USB male cords would not charge the phone. At first, just a couple cords were a problem, but then more and more wouldn't work with the phone. Ultimately, I noticed that the USB female on the phone was slightly deformed.

My theory is that the ProClip USB male was slightly out of position/alignment and caused the phone socket to deform over time and 100's of insertions/removal. One thing about the ProClip design is that the phone comes down a solid track and then the USB parts mesh. There is no margin for error.

Ended up having to purchase a new phone.

    Just my two cents.
