Is there a forumla to know the cost for each Empty-Full EV charge?

    I don't do the timed charge, I use the charge as soon as you plug in. So, it's usually plugged in all night.
    So maybe it does heating ? But doesn't the real heat come from charging.

    I guess I'll learn more in the summer.

    It's because your efficiency is so low (2.5 miles per kWh). Mine is 4.9. You must be driving either very harshly or at very high speeds to have an efficiency that low.

    Nothing to do with charge rate over night. Any EV, including Prime, estimates EV miles based on one's previous driving. Mine is about 5.1miles/kWh and getting 35~37 miles displayed at full charge.

    My 2017 Prius Plugin has a battery heater. It is not for charging AFAIK. It is to enable the battery to work more efficiently or effectively when driving in cold weather.

    yes, i'm not sure this 'battery pre heater conditioner' has been properly defined yet.
