Is there a way to stay in just eletric?

Yea.. thats what happens when Toyota was too far ahead of its time.... but we are getting there!.. I guess back then that battery cost as much as the whole vehicle to replace?

The battery runs out pretty quick when used alone, as I learned unfortunately the other day. That experience made me decide the AV switch wasnt worth it.

I have tested out how fast you can go in AV before the motor comes on, and in my neighborhood today I went from 0-about 22 mph all in electric and still could have gone more but I had to turn so I slowed down. The only problem is you have to accelerate pretty slowly so its not something thats easy to do in traffic.
