Is this a symptom of a dead batter

    Jeez......I"ve never, ever noticed that light flashing....Is it possible that since the battery was dying it stopped working for a period of time?? Who knows?

    Well good to know that its supposed to be there and I've successfully fixed the issue! Thanks everyone.

    Along with the light there are probably a certain number of beeps. Starting on Page 24 of the Owners Manual you can find the interpretation.
    First thing I would check is to make sure you put it in park and turned pushed the ignition button to off.
    In all the excitement you may have forgotten to do that simple step.

    Everyone! its been 10 days and all is well. after changing the battery, I am all set! Thanks to everyone for your input. Happy Holidays to all and thanks again for your help.
