Is your center glove box missing the shelf?

Dealer said Toyota removed everything that could rattle and make noise - so we lost the 2 shelves. I agree that the 2010 version was lame.

Toyota seems to be really good at F-ing up every generation. First by crippling remote door entry on the 2010 from what was on the 2006, installing a center console flip up tray that dumps everything out (then removing any kind of tray), and putting that stupid center console in that prevents me from sliding in across the passenger seat when some $%^#*& parks too close to me on the driver’s side.

Don't even get me started on Entune, which is a real crock.

It holds an iPod just fine, and won't spill it out when lifted. So that's all I put in there. I think it cost me $30+ at the parts counter for the same thing the hatchback has standard. ;)

A belated thank you! I just bought a 2013 PIP and this was absolutely perfect for holding my ipod when plugged into USB. Since this is my first Prius, I never would have known about the tray or that it was a perfect fit. Maybe a little spendy ($27 shipped) but I find it so useful that its worth it to me. Thanks again!

Guys guys guys! I figured out the best, cheapest, and most delicious way to solve this problem!

Step 1: Go to Trader Joe's.
Step 2: Buy container of chocolate covered cherries (there may be similar treats that come in the same package).
    IMG_1335.jpg
Step 3: Consume the deliciousness within (or send to me if you don't care for it ).
Step 4: Place empty container in center console. It fits *perfectly* onto the ledge inside, maintaining space below, and not slipping off with any reasonable amount of weight in it.

    Step 5:

Great find! I just went to TJs and got a box of chocolate covered blueberries (after verifying that it was the same sized bin as the cherries).
