I have no unusual sounds from the front since changing to the JDM steering wheel.

Any tips on adjusting the tie rods? I've never done that and would love a tutorial so i can get my new leather wheel centered just right....

I'm in need of this as well.

Talked to my Michanic. He wants to try to get the wheel in as lose as possible with the splines cause messing with the tie rods effects the alignment and will cause camber. Thus will effect the life of the tire and mpg.

Getting the wheel in as close as possible makes sense. The rest of his explanation makes no sense.
Camber is the angle of the road wheel relative to the vertical when pointing straight ahead. If it has positive camber the top of the wheel is leaning out--negative is the opposite.
If done wrong, fiddling with the tie rods will change the toe-in (wheel-to-wheel angle as viewed from above).

    Toe,

    Toe, I meant toe.

I also think it makes sense to get an alignment asap.

The toe in will only be affected if the adjustments aren't made equally on both sides.

Hmmmm equally like, right side one turn left and left side one turn left? I do not know I need to understand this more in order to explain it better.

    I think that's it.
The thread pitch will be the same for both sides.
