I wont even know what my car would do on 15's since I wont have any to install ;) BTW, my car is on the cargo ship right now on it's way to Portland.

Yep, I'm loving the extra mpg:D. Overall, the weather is definitely warmer than when I drove w/ the 17's but ironically I was getting slightly better (on 17's) when it was colder 49-50 than most recently about 47-49 when it warmed up to about the current temp we have. Oh yeah, almost forgot, we did have a few rain storms recently(on 17's) that affected mpg.

Trust me, it's a good thing u don't have 15's or you'll be conflicted like me to go comfort & effecient or look good & perform.

U must be both excited & frustrated that your car is so near yet so far away:D.

The tires I'm running w/ my 17's are 225/45/17 Continental Pro Contact Extreme DWS.

:p excited, wow, I can't think of many more words that describe how I feel today. I have been renting Prii since 2009 and now I have one on a ship coming across the western pond :)

Yea I am going freakin nuts waiting. Justin told me I would be like this a few weeks ago. Then I seen he bought his BP Solar, damn, he sure was right [IMG]

I have yet to see a picture of a BP Four Solar Plus Perf package. Honestly I have never seen those 17's in person either. I hope I made the right guess

Are those LRR tires? I didn't find anything that said that. Could that be part of the mpg drop?

I was hoping the Plus Perf package was a dealer install so I could beg them for the factory 15's just so I could find out the mpg difference from the 17's. No dice, the package is Port Installed :(

If the 17's on the plus haven't changed, they are pretty awesome lookin wheels:rockon:, not sure the exact color name but in person it looks like a wet, kinda shiny(in a good way, not chromy) gunmetal. Lets call it a hybrid-liquidmetal;).

No, they are not LRR but Discount Tires labeled them as "fuel economy" tires & they are rated & reviewed in most part positively especially for 17 & bigger tires.

I would guess it's just the wider tires in the breeze and increased road friction from the larger contact patch :) Ah, what's a few mpg when your already knocking on that 50 mpg door.

Well, after having that big jump in MPG(about 7-8 higher) after the change back to stock initially, I don't know if u saw my other recent thread, but the dealer overfilled my car w/5 quarts of oil which I drove about 1k recent miles, including a trip to Vegas. The trip avg. 49 mpg. which I can't complain about considering the speed I was traveling. But after my tank from Vegas had finished off & I refueled is when I noticed a slight sluggishness & low mpg where I was struggling to get over 40 mpg.(which was surprising & a first) is when I realized something was not right after the 10k service. Also, got a ugly passenger side door ding @ the casino I was staying in Vegas so the last couple of weeks occurences have not been memorable:p. Since, I have raised current tank to 51 mpg calculated & corrected oil level myself ending on some positives:).
