The cricket ODIs and twenty20 forms of the game could catch on in the US, but not the classic test form. I don't know about the games where GrumpyCabbie is but down here the tea break is for a meal - ie something to eat (tea = supper), even the players have to stop and grab a feed 'cause the game takes so bloody long. Beer is the beverage of choice at our cricket games But wait- back to Rugby! Yes the canadians "play" rugby, and the Poms invented it. The French are pretty good at it, and some of the Ozzies. But only the kiwis live rugby, with a special mention shouted out to some of the South African states. BTW, the consensus down here is that Eastwood's Inviticus is close to an abomination for rugby lovers. No sense of the game, no sense of the history, no sense of the personalities involved back in '95. Now back to our regular broadcasting...
