I envy the solar panel... but not 100+F temp. We are expecting some snow tonight. Prediction is a few inches here, but up to 12" in higher elevation. I have to call the oil company to deliver heating oil for our boiler tomorrow. :(

Solar panels are the way to go:).

    If they work right:whistle:.

I know @The Critic is struggling with Solar City now:cool:.

But with the amount of sun you get in your neck of the woods, a wise investment(y).

I love your avatar picture. Having traveled a lot for business, I fell in love with the scenery and especially the coastline in New England. We needed to find a warm climate for the arthritis problems we already have so settling there was impossible. The extreme heat here might be bit much the other way but the rest of our living situation here really suits us well. You learn to adapt.

Despite running the A/C a lot in the heat we are still operating on electricity banked Jan.- Mar. by the solar panels. Outside temperature has been between 100*F and 116*F almost every day . Keeping the thermostats at 80*F downstairs, 76*F upstairs (the girls' bedrooms), the electric bill for May was only $13 again. :):):)
