    People are so sick of the bankruptcies, that was inevitable no matter what happened. Anything to get the attention off of GM woes would have been welcomed. An opportunity to spite Toyota was too good to be true.

    Makes you wonder what the retrospective on the situation will be a few months from now.

    That's the only plus about the American press, they have extremely short attention spans.

    If it wasn't for the Feds stepping in and setting some standards with the help of such testing as above, we'd all be driving something similar to that 1959 Belair in the video.
