60 degrees and 60-65 mph what a combo. Add a tail wind and I'm near 70 mpg on a 30 mile stretch to work or home, (90% HWY). Anyone else notice the nice change....?

It is slowly warming up here in the PNW and I have noticed about a 15% increase so far.
Waiting for it to warm up more, I expect it to just get better.

Got mine in October so I am right there with you.
I noticed my mileage has gotten better even on my snow tires as I got more experienced with my car.
Then when I switched back to my OEM tires my mileage actually dropped a little bit, lol what.
Still a little cold, and the OEM tires don't do as well in rain etc. as my snows.
And I think the tires are still getting worn in a little, I only had 450 miles on my car before I switched to snows.
I averaged 47 mpg during the time I had my snows on, love having 2 trip displays, I used number 2 for my snow tire time.
I am now over 53 on the first full tank since I switched back.
I still haven't pulled my insulation from the grill as it still isn't quite warm enough yet, especially in the mornings, maybe next week.
But I am almost breaking 60 on my commute home when it's warmer, keep in mind my commute is slightly uphill I think about 1300 ft. in elevation.
But I am right at 59.9mpg coming home yesterday at that is at 64 degrees.

I can't wait to fill up mine. MPG had been suffering during winter. Current tank is showing 55mpg, this would be the first 50+ tank since I got it during winter ***Fingers crossed***

Aye. With warmer temps and summer blend fuel back at the pumps your mpg is going to go way up. You'll see a lot of smiling Prius owners driving around. ;)

Wow, really I am surprised. We are suppose to get 5-13" of snow today...about 23F now. But this is not uncommon.

Remember the days when we were oblivious to MPG, when winter simply meant months of cold to deal with?

    [IMG] [IMG]

Having a screen in front of you clearly showing how efficiency is affected when the temperature is low makes your years for spring.

Thankfully, even delivers MPG better than traditional cars even the extremes. I still miss summer though...

Last weekend with warm temps and dry roads a round trip to Portland Oregon and back was about 53 mpg
calculated. If the weather was rain and in the 40's the mpg would be about 45-47 mpg calculated.
