January Fuel Economy Stats

    we have 3200 miles on our prius now.wifes commute to work and back 30miles round trip up and over steep summit 55mph-eco mode,2 miles town driving.about 30 degrees out.hand calculated 43.5mpg dash said 46.3mpg.off some.went to salt lake and back yesterday 460mi. first small road trip w/prius.avg temp 35-40 degrees.running w/cruise at 75mph on power mode hand calculated 45.5 mpg.interesting only 2mpg diff.tires i aired 40lb f&b.im happy,this will get only better as the car breaks in and warmer weather gets here.

    13.5 gallons

    39.3MPG - Winter driving, about 50 miles of 1 mile travel to / from train station and another 60 miles of short trips running errands with car not warming up.

    Major storm coming this week so expect more of the same for February.
