What is wrong with centering on the lugnuts? If lugnut fit hole in rim it would be centered correctly. That type of lugnut has been in use for decades.

Mods look great. I am doing fog-lights, hitch, neoprene seat covers, mud guards, window deflectors and front end cover for road trips (hopefully to stop the hood chips seen on most Prius') . Windows tinted already.

 

I wasn't sure that "goldifying" parts on your car would work, but have to admit the final results look damn sharp. I like it. Nice job!

 

Wrong, maybe if the lug nuts had the acorn type seat, but the flat washer type lug nuts don't center the wheels when tightened down.

The ones I am thinking about have a shoulder on them to take up the area between the stud and wheel itself.

Also, a 3mm spacer will give the lug nuts a bit more thread contact and still clear the brakes. Others have ground the brake down, but the center caps no longer fit.

Toyota logo center cap covers for $11 a set will enhance the wheels further. 47mm is the best fit and just stick on the scion center caps. Black or carbon fiber for that extra .01 hp;-) Just use a suction cup to pop the cap off without having to remove the wheel. Have you noticed any difference in handling, breaking, acceleration and mileage with the new skins? BTW, I am in the process of changing mine to the FRS wheels. Great look.

Also, the factory tire pressure sensors will fit the FRS wheels.

 

Is that a film or the spray on kit they sell?

 

It is a spray and was on special at AdvancedAuto.com for like $16 a can.
