    They make mesh wheels but the prius is a high offset (mid-high backpad) vehicle so you may not get as much lip

    The wheels that I had on my Scion xB is called SDMsl2 from JLine Wheels.

    You can custom order the sizes from 15 to 22" Diameter and 6-11" Widths.

    Depending on the look you are going for, you can contact them regarding Sizes and Offsets.

    The SEMA Show is fast approaching and we're finalizing the latest Mods to HBII in preparation for the Show !!!

    The latest mod is the SPEC-D TUNING FULL LED RED/CLEAR Taillamps !!!

    I used to use the 1/2 LED Version Full Clear Taillamps, and so I wanted to try these as well !!!

    Please Note : I switched the bottom bracket from the Original OEM Tailamp onto the New SPEC-D Tuning Taillamp as I have heard it provides a better fit for the rear bumper.

    Hi Rodney,

    2 things

    1st … I just wanted to say thanks to you and your sponsors … seeing so many ideas about how to personalize the car is great … your friendly attitude is even better … good job.

    2nd … I have the 5 axis body kit … 5 axis wheels and tires … I like it very much … but I feel like the wheels need to come out just a bit more to look the best … I have scoured the thread a couple times … ( I am sure I am missing it) … what offset did you use with 5 axis wheels? … do you have a recommended source for wheel spacers? I am planning on upsizing to the 225/40/18 tire size soon … any rubbing concerns?

    Thanks for the kind words, without my Sponsors and the support of Friends and Family project HB II wouldn't have been possible.

    For the offset on the Five:AD wheels. I was running the S6:F 18x7.5 with a +45 Offset for both the Front and Rear as recommended by Five:AD. I didn't feel the need to use spacers for this setup, and didn't have rubbing issues with the Tein H Tech springs setup as well.

    So, as I was taking a look at doing some mods myself, I noticed that the emblem's backdrop is white, yet I do not see the typical 20 pic walkthrough of how you accomplished this. At first I thought it was white carbon fiber, but this looks painted to match the car.

    Now, isn't it just a dull black plastic there in the front?

    On the rear I see you can just take off the emblem and the car's paint is there, but there is a hole matching the loop above the "T." I take it you had it custom blocked, right?

    Soon, I will have to show off my DIY quad headlights.

    I had to join the forum to ask Rodney a question.. lel

    What mpg do you get with all the goods in the car? We use lt/100 in here (Sydney, Australia)
    My best effort was 4.3 lt/100 which equates to 65.7 mpg (based on Google conversion)

    In removing the emblem and plastic piece I did find the black plastic backing in the front of the vehicle ...

    And I found the backing in the rear of the vehicle to be painted as the color of the vehicle so I did not find the need to utilize the backing ...

    Initially I did wrap the original plastic piece ...

    With a Black Dry Carbon Fiber Vinyl ...

    And later I painted the piece to be color matched with the Blizzard Pearl ...

    Rear (without the original backing) ...

    **Note there is a hole on the upper portion of the T emblem**
    If you do not prefer this you can paint the original backing and replace as before, I just felt the color match was better with the rear valiance so I left it off.

    I think it presents a clear more uniform look for the Blizzard Pearl.

    With the added Weight to the vehicle, the Wheel / Tire setup, Ride Height / Aerodynamics, and other factors considered with my style of driving I average 43mpg.
