    FYI: If anyone want to do a transplant to the G's version and don't want the yellow turn signal fog look. You can get Aqua G's clear lamp and do minor mod.

    I guess i will chime in........
    I was very fortunate to have a childhood friend that lives in Japan and he was able to source the conversion for me. This included all needed Japan Toyota Parts and came pre-painted from the factory to my paint code (070)

    Aha, that makes sense.

    I discovered the buyee.jp site, which provides a means for foreigners to do business on auctions.yahoo.jp. I've purchased the G's tail lights and a front end. But I'm coming to the realization that I might be out of luck when it comes to all the minor garnish pieces, marker lights, and other detail pieces.

    I really wanted to do this conversion after my front bumper was demolished from freeway debris. the quote I got for shipping the parts was either equal to or more than the parts themselves so I broke dwn & bought another USDM cover :(

    No, I go directly to JP Toyota dealer. BTW, I can't believe Prius G's front end transplant cost closely to $2K shipped to California. I think I might get myself a set for X-MAS.

    I bet cost is significantly less. You should consider a large group buy and have you and your friend make a little change. I know we have a lot of people interested if the price is right.
