JDM spec 1.8L comparison to US LE trim

    I've been noticing a lot of questions about the LE model but I found some Japanese reviews of their 1.8L model, which seems to closely resemble what will arrive to the US, just with a different engine.

    Lower part of the front bumper is the same (all black vs. silver on XLE/Limited), and wheels match:

    Inside, there is no ambient lighting, and there's the 8in screen:

    Looking closer, notice there is still push button start (Everyone was questioning this but I doubt Toyota would have put the ignition where keys would dangle off HVAC controls)

    The gen2 having push button start and smart key system was a bit of a big deal, as they were still luxury brand features then. With Toyota positioning the Prius as something a little more upscale, I don't see them not having a push button start.

    I wonder about those matte-gray bumper and fender trims. I hope the US LE/SE don't come with those but with the shiny-black ones.
