If you knew how bad the traffic and the drivers were on that road, you'd be as reluctant to drive it as I am. In that distance, there are probably at least 3 wrecks a day. Last night we saw several cars splattered across the oncoming lanes on our way home from the airport. We were picking up my wife's sister from Texas and had just told her that we see a wreck almost every time we drive that stretch of road. Right then, the fire truck and ambulance went screaming past on the way to the wreck we were about to go past.

Not offended at all. But slightly grossed out. Cheese curds?? Yuuuuuuck is right!! :D

Dear Canadian friends: Poutine is a delicious, guilty pleasure. I can't vouch for Costco's, but in Quebec City it is sooooo good!

A lot of products seem like this. When you can't make a move without consulting the manual, and not just a quick refresher glance: a concerted read, someone is dropping the ball.

Yeah, just running into a local green grocer for a few things, keeps us out of the car, the drive to the big box, a bill that almost reaches the ground.

I understand Poutine started in Quebec. I am Canadian, but that became a thing after I left. Personally I enjoyed fries with beef gravy on them.

I am unfamiliar with Poutine, even though we live fairly close to the Canadian border. What we like at local Greek restaurant is Gyro With Fries. They call those Greek Fries, but I have no idea difference from French Fries.

Man, are we ever getting off topic. Good thing we don't care. LOL!!

Anyway, the fries with gravy reminded me of my father-in-law. He put beef gravy on pancakes and waffles. I thought, "That sounds terrible!!" But I try not to make taste decisions without actually tasting unless it's really obvious, like turpentine on watermelon or something. So I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. I don't ever do that now that I've tried it, but I don't sneer at it either. :)

Costco has some good deals, but tires aren't one of them.
Tires have a service life(mounted and inflated) of about 6 to 7 years, and should be replaced at that time. Temporary spares are good for 10 years. The cracking you see is from UV light and oxidation. Higher tire pressures should result in less, because they mean less flexing of the sidewall.

Another unusual combination I found after staying overnight at a neighbor's house. Try strawberry jam on toast topped with bacon. It is actually pretty good.
I understood you gave me permission to be off-topic in your thread anyway :D

Took me a second read to realise you were using “next charging event” method via the 4.2” MID. I just create a new schedule (using the 11.6” screen) and as long as you don’t pick a day, it’ll run once then turn off. I use that as my temporary event scheduling.

Get it in Quebec and it’s nice and squeaky. It’s like a small ball of mozzarella.

    +1

Sweet and salty. Can’t go wrong. It’s like maple whiskey bacon.

Many years ago (40?) I was in Canada with a buddy, a waitress asked if I wanted gravy on my fries. I thought, why not, I'll try anything once. Well, it wasn't gravy, it was vinegar. straight 100% vinegar.

I'll bet that IS good. Maybe as good as chocolate covered bacon! I'll even eat asparagus if you wrap it in bacon. :ROFLMAO:

Nope. You were right with the 1st read. I was using the 11.6" screen. Problem was that I pulled the EVSE from the car before it finished charging and it insisted on finishing before it would go away, no matter how I edited the time.

I think I just puked in my mouth a little.

  15. You know what the 2020 Prius Prime should have?

    A bacon dispenser :ROFLMAO:

The malt vinegar is the condiment I use most frequently with fries. It is a must have for British Fish and Chips.

I think vinegar is the usual fry topping for fish and chips. Five Guys and Long John Silvers has malt vinegar out. I'll pour in on top of my cup of ketchup; like both for fires, and can't decide on one.

So, did you think you would be talking about bacon in your car thread?

I do put jalapenos on my Five Guys burgers.
