So I have a pesky P0101 code that keeps popping up and I have at one point after a bad idle one morning, went and picked up a new MAF sensor from Autozone with lifetime warranty and I already had a $20 rewards credit.

I used that for almost the whole 90 days then returned it because I felt my old one was still good, I slapped that back in and all is well but then the code came back the other night on a long drive.

I wanted to try this brand out and see if it did anything, which I believe it will.

I did not disconnect the 12v to reset the ecu's and it ran fine.

I know it will be a few days before I notice anything since the ecu's have to adjust.

I will say my OEM MAF has over 200k miles on it so it can be time to replace since I have already cleaned it a few times.

    Below is some eye candy... 20230125_200045.jpeg 20230125_200127.jpeg 20230125_200055.jpeg 20230125_200032.jpeg 20230125_200107.jpeg

I had a similar problem once and it turned out to be a bad throttle body position sensor, so if this MAF doesn't work look into that.

    Any noticeable improvements?

What's it do that a non-"JET Performance" MAF sensor doesn't do?

They take a Denso or other aftermarket sensor and modify it to respond quicker, where an OEM MAF will be limited.

They do not trick the ECU with false data.
This is CARB approved so they are tested.

Contrary to internet rumors, this is not just a sticker slapped onto a Denso or other aftermarket part.

That would be illegal and they would not be in business after 50 years.

What I have noticed is a smoother idle now after the first couple days it was adjusting.

Quick response is felt when taking corners.

I will test higher speeds and road grades this week.

Almost cries out for somebody to build a pipe with two MAF-mounting spots in it, feed it with a blower, and scope a standard and a JET sensor while varying the airflow.
