Jump charging 2001 Prius - anything I'm missing?

    I've read the manual online, and I have read various threads about how to jumpstart the Prius. I read the precautions of doing it incorrectly.

    I hate to ask this, maybe this is a dumb question… But is it common to do it incorrectly, isn't this the same way you would boost any car… Positive to positive, -negative to negative ??

    Yes, this is the way that you would jumpstart any car. Sadly some people are not able to pass this test of connecting + to +, etc.
