    ...tends to contradict Elon Musk's recent contention that the Volt-type big-battery-hybrid will not be as successful as 100% EV or light hybrid. But it is very early in the game. Perhaps Nissan is not pushing sales as hard as GM as yet.

    depends on what do you consider success... if you put in billions and get 20k yearly sales, i would not call that success :).

    Nah, that would have been a truck. GM wanted a halo green vehicle.
