Just purchased my first Prius PHV

    Your car has the 1500W 100V AC inverter installed, that's a fairly expensive option in Japan! It would have originally come with an adaptor to provide mains sockets from the charging port too. Could be useful for camping or disaster situations (I guess NZ isn't immune to earthquakes), though not without 100V appliances (e.g. if you wanted to use a kettle or something - step-up transformers for high-power devices are heavy and expensive).

    The illuminated badges were aftermarket accessories, but sold by Toyota in Japan if I recall correctly. Very fancy :) I think there are illuminated door sill trims available too? At least the chrome grille trim is available in Europe as an OEM accessory, nothing else though.

    Illuminated door sill plates should've been available as they were dealer-installed accessories for the regular Gen 3 Prius in North America (and certain packages in Canada included them, like my Technology Package)
