Wow! Those headlights look awesome! Yeah its not hard to remove the assembly. I do that every time I change out my bulbs.

I was thinking of tinting mine blue, but after seeing that pic, I might reconsider making them smoked! How much light do you think the smoked vinyl would block. I know it would look awesome, but I also have to be able to see!

Hey, how did you wrap your roof? like where did you get the black vinyl? how did you get the antenna base off? How hard was it to do the wrap? Did you have anyone help you do the wrap? I want to add black vinyl to my roof too, but the only way I know how is to get it painted... I know I'm brave enough to attempt to add the black vinyl on to the roof. I just need to know how, and where to buy the supplies. Thanks for your help!

I actually paid to have mine wrapped so I can't say from experience how hard/easy it is. But from watching the two guys wrap mine. It seems pretty easy. They removed the two weather strips from the top of the car. From inside the back hatch area, after removing the three clips holding the headliner in, You can get to the bolt that holds down the Antenna. Once the area was clear, including the dirt that gets in all the cracks and crevices near the windshield weather stripping, they sprayed it down with what smelled like a rubbing alcohol to prep the surface and got it super clean (any dirt, even the tiniest piece will cause the vinyl to not look smooth). The wrap was a high gloss black vinyl probably 5' x 6' with a adhesive side that wasn't too sticky. They would smooth out and re-lift several times before they trimmed it once all the air bubbles were smoothed out. They had to cut a hole for the antenna and slide the vinyl around it. The vinyl stretches a little enough to get around the base of the antenna. I only paid $225 but most places wanted closer to $300. Still worth it to me either way.

I've actually contemplated having the spoiler wrapped in carbon fiber as well...

or black like the GenIII's are.

Yeah, I love the Gen III spoiler is all black. It blends into the rear tinted glass so well. I want the roof, small space above the hatch, and spoiler wrapped or painted black. I guess it's all time and money... I have no time, and sure don't have the money... but one can dream...

I'd say go gloss black, I would avoid the carbon fiber, unless the spoiler acctually was carbon fiber. I think both would look good, but I just can't stand 'fake' carbon fiber... but that's just me. If you want it, do it! I'm sure it will still look awesome!

Took some pictures of the fake LED lights within the headlight to see if I could get some ideas of how to mount real LEDs.

FYI... the entire headlight comes apart with a few plastic clips and screws for easy reassembly.
