Since I cannot include links yet, please search on YouTube: "A Hidden Hackable Device Lets Me Steal Your Car" I turned down the KARR dealer add-on, but was surprised that dealer did not remove the security hardware. Even though dealer did mentioned they've deactivated it, recalling the fact that they could open the car doors with their KARR app is a bit disconcerting. After some research, removing the KARR hardware isn't a simple task, it might disable our cars if not done correctly. Go to KARR website -> CUSTOMERS FAQS -> How do I update my firmware/software? to update security firmware to prevent this vulnerability (for now), even for "Non_Activated System"... which means it is NOT really deactivated. Not to mention complaints about KARR security hardware draining our 12v batteries.
