Kenwood Excelon KFC-XP6903C 6"x9" + 3-1/2" component speakers?

I'm holding off on buying a head unit, so there's a budget for speakers and amps. I was searching around, looking at the polk and infinity speakers that others have installed, when I found this new product from Kenwood.

I'm intrigued, as it looks like this would fit pretty well into the stock locations. Has anybody else looked at this setup. Anybody have any idea how you would wire this up with the stock (Non-JBL) system?

I'll have an aftermarket headunit, and a Class A/B amp (eclipse 32230).
