I got this message on the information display when I turned off the car after an hour of drive. I'm guessing it refers to the key getting low on battery but why only after 2 months?? Now what any solutions? Is the battery covered under warranty?

Battery I think is covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles

I think the OP is talking about the battery inside the key, not the one in the car. I have no idea about warranty but in MBz that low battery message is there all the time with no problem whatsoever for years, I guess it's the same with PC. I didn't check on the PC yet but in the MBz I can pull out the start button to insert the key.

I think that warranty is only for the Main battery in the car and not the key battery?
    Anybody got this message yet?

I have no problem with my key battery. I drove my C each single day for the past 3 months - no problem with key battery. Did you try to use the second fob? Should be the same age battery in the second one. If the second fob will show the same issue, I would go to the dealer.

I haven’t tried the other one but I will when I get back home. I just called my dealer and the service tech said that the key and the battery in the key is covered for the 3 years 36k miles so they would just replace the battery for me. He recommended also trying the second key to see if I get the same message.

That is actually kind of a nice feature to have. As long as it works like it should though.
