took a while to figure out why it wasn't working (it kept saying "waiting for juice plug device") so I disconnected from my Mobile Hot spot and connected to a nearby XfinityWiFi and violah! it works!:D

@bwilson4web I have had this Juice Plug for about three weeks, I worked in the beginning as you can see from my previous posts> It hasn't worked since. Got ahold of Emotorwerks and so far no response that was on the 13th of June. It connects fine but I get to the point where it says :waiting for Juice Net device" So I'm waiting.......and waiting.... this goes on for about an hour so I finally give up and return to my apartment to sulk :cry::notworthy::sick:

@priuscatprimeguy Did you try going back to the setup.com site again?

It takes mine about two minutes to hook up into my wifi when I use the supplied charger. So it loses that time, though I still think it tracks the kWh used accurately. I also had an issue where the Recent wouldn't remember after it went offline. For the last few days it's begun to work.

I wish I could help. My experience is their equipment works fine when it stays connected to a permanently connected, local WiFi. Your symptom suggests the device is not finding the local hotspot.

Let me suggest going back to initial learning setup to see if once is it POWER ON, the default IP address is enabled and you can use the browser to reset the WiFi network. Understand this is pure speculation but the "waiting for Juice Net device" suggests either the WiFi connection and/or associated account on their server is broken.

I see this link problem in the e-mail log:
The JuiceBox Pro down at Propst is using a T-Mobile hotspot and I suspect we're seeing the box-to-server link frequently going down and up. Sometimes I suspect it is 'server maintenance' and other times, the network link.

Since I am very far away from my computer I have to resort to the app on my phone, are you suggesting I open chrome browser to the emotorwerks website?

Doing this from memory (always a mistake,) after power-on, the JuiceBox Pro has about a two minute window when it reverts to a 192.*.*.* address that we can connect to with the browser. This gives us 'console' access to configure the WiFi it is supposed to use. Once that is done, the box reaches out to the server. Then we switch to the normal operation.

First get the juicenet-**** wifi. Then go to setup.com. There you tell it to find your wifi.

I wonder why the car can't display the charging amount? Technically difficult? Or in the same category as tachometer, coolant temp, ie: arbitrary exclusion? Maybe a request for @Prius Team.

    We're good now?

If you get a chance, plug it into a L2 charger. Once it is charged, enable the A/C and see the load.

darn, not following directions, AGAIN! while it was still charging (had a full charge from yesterday and L2 chargepoint is 2 miles away) The amperage went down to .5 amps then after a few minutes it kicked in to 15 amps then kicked out after about a minute back to .5 amps. So, the correct way is wait till car has finished charging then kick in remote A/C from fob and check load, right? @bwilson4web

Ok, followed directions this time, lol, since the only L2 charger I have access to is a Charge Point station results in the Charge Point shutting off after the car finishes it's charging and my stats indicate 0 volts, 0 amps, and 0 KWH's Interestingly though I turned on A/C remotely from the fob ran it for a couple of minutes, tried to restart my session with Charge Point, that failed because the car is still fully charged. Sorry to let you down @bwilson4web :cry:

    It worked fine for me.

Added exactly 4.0 kWh to restore capacity to 100%, waited, then started remote A/C via the app.

After that A/C finished, the ChargePoint charger automatically resumed... which you can see all in the same session.

0.38 kWh is what was added back afterward.
