Your existing battery won't get you another 15 years when solid state is actually available. What's more, your claim about charge degradation below 32F is baseless and without reference...

Meanwhile Norway has been more successful than any country at converting to electric vehicles and just read a few days back that their town that's the northern most small city in the world has committed to converting all municipal vehicles to Lithium-Ion. So tell me Grit: Why do you hate Norwegians so much?

I'm in the bay area. Curious as to what your discount for installation is?

I was glad to get mine for 2300 a couple months ago. So $2100 and not having to wait seems like real deal. Mine has performed just as stated in the FAQ on the Project Lithium Page. After 600,000 miles you don’t expect it to perform better than new. Milage around town, 0-60 and hill climbing are remarkable. I expect I’ll drive this next battery to 1,000,000 mile

Just an update, after several months now I’m still impressed with performance, my wife’s 2009 with 90,000 miles cannot keep up to my 600,000 2005 with a Lithium pack. I enjoy how forgiving my milage is of my quick accelerations now that the battery discharges and charges with so little resistance. I’m going to continue to drive it hard and see what happens down the road for the next 400,000 miles.
