    LIkely, as I had posted several months ago. I was told by a few different dealers that the EP422 was a replacement for the EP100.

    It makes sense, since there is a very limited audience for a summer-only tire on a low-performance car, which is what LRR tires are aimed towards.

    I wouldn't call it a replacement so much as an alternative. Because we don't know how it compares to the EP100 in terms of wet braking and fuel efficiency I would consider it an alternative to the EP100 that is being phased out.
