Stay away from the aftermarket LED replacement lowbeam headlights, they are bright but they have pretty poor beam patterns due to the lights not being a good point source (LEDs mounted on opposite sides of a circuit board) like a glowing tungsten filament.

Get a decent HID kit, look for 35w AC ballasts. Stay away from the cheap DC ballasts. HIDs last a long time, as there's no filament to burn out in the bulbs.

Yes , HID is the best way to go,
    1,/lower power consumption,
    2/brighter

Looking for a fast light on HID, older model take more time to warm up, like around 60 sec,

    About Day time running light,
See mine , just install a led strip , for ur ref, power consumption is less12w,
