I put a pair on my Omni 20 years ago. The lens combined with the height-shield were a remarkable improvement over the lights of the time. Having seen that, I was suprised it took so darn long for them to catch on as standard headlights.

Do you notice any advantage to self leveling headlights?

The auto leveling is a great feature. It adjusts with the load in your car so you do not glare oncoming traffic. The more weight you put in the car the rear end goes down. So, the front end of the car is angled more up. The headlights then angled more up causing glare.

Just to clarify the entire unit cost 1295 and it's about 200 per bulb.

Any exerience with signal LED bulbs?
Today I got some more LED bulbs. Two white bright ones for reverse which looks great. Got two amber ones for the rear sigal lights. However I haven't gotten my relay thingie yet for the hyper flashing. My concern is I wonder if the bulbs aren't working. I tried plugging them both in one side, both poles tried. When I hit the flasher on that side I get the hyper flashing front light and nada on the new bulb. Just off. I swapped the poles, tried the other bulb. Still nada. Does the bulb need the relay in order to work at all? Or do I have two DOA bulbs?? Also of note, when I put on the hazard lights, the three working original bulbs blink at correct speed. Just isn't what I expected. Should I wait and try again after the relay comes or should I assume I got two duds?

I have no experience with signal LED bulbs. How long til the relay comes? Do the signal bulbs work in another location so that you can test it out further? (e.g. they fit the reverse light location.. I don't remember what the number of the bulb base is)
