TOYOTA PRIUS Tail Lights ALL LED Style 2010 2011 2012 | eBay

Has anyone checked this one out? It looks exactly like a Valenti Type HC tail lights, only cheaper. The seller comes from Taiwan. I wonder if someone has purchased and tried this yet. I might consider this. Any suggestions?

Looks exactly the same from pics but my concern is it's a knockoff. Knockoffs are pretty common with taillights. Another disadvantage is you won't get the one year warranty as if you were to purchase from *selling by members is not allowed here without talking to Danny so username removed*. Buy at your own risk.

I considered these before I bought the tail lights I have. I e-mailed a guy who bought them through e-Bay and he confirmed the lights say "Valenti" on them. They only have red though so anyone who wants the smoked or any of the other versions will have to go through the traditional channel.

Has anyone tried these out? I want to get rid of the stock chrome 2010 tails which are an eye sore, and don't want to spend $400+

I don't know if these are the same as the ones in the original post, this is a california seller:

apparently I can't post links, they are about 240-260 shipped, here are the pics

Someone got the Option Racing lights but returned them because the LEDs were too weak. Stick with known brands such as Valenti, Spec-D and Crystal Eye.

I glanced at that thread and didn't notice that person was talking about these, but I see it now. There are a bunch from different ebay sellers (some that don't say option racing) but they are pretty clearly the same looking tail light.

Aside from the option racing ones, has anyone had any success from any red style ebay tail light?

I've only seen positive reviews on the big three (Valenti, Spec-D and Crystal Eye). bino did get the Revier ones and didn't have any complaints, but they're only available in Japan. If cost is an issue for you, get the Spec-D ones off ebay but make sure they actually say Spec-D so you can file a not as described claim if necessary. Getting a no name off ebay is like playing a Russian roulette with build quality and LED outputs.

I got them. They work great. It was a no brainer for the price.

Thanks for the advice, when I look for the spec-d on ebay i'm seeing the ones that are basically half red and half clear. I prefer the ones that are more like the pics i posted ( i want as little chrome as possible), but if the spec-d are the only ones guaranteed to be reliable I might make the sacrifice.

So no complaints on the visibility of the turn signals?

They are not full LED, meaning the turn signals and reverse lights are still ordinary halogens. The Spec-D Version 2 is full LED and more expensive but doesn't have Valenti's quality or brightness. You get what you pay for.

Indeed. My Spec-D full LED are flaking out. The passenger brake light works maybe 60% of the time.
They're getting pulled hopefully this week. If anyone is feeling adventurous, and wants to take a crack at repairing them, I'll be selling them cheap.

Still looking at led tails but I do like the 10-11 types. They go well with the silver and kind of blend in. Was thinking of getting some vinyl and covering the top part like the brake lights.

Or if I'm feeling really adventurous http://bit.ly/1hiQbGY

That's Valenti CR. Not sure why it's saying pre-facelift 10-11 tailights as the photos clearly show Valenti lights.
