What is the 12v battery currently reading? Did you allow a few minutes during the jump attempts to equalize the 12v batteries?

Most p-lock problems are caused by a low voltage battery. A quick jump will not always raise the voltage enough especially if the 12v battery is damaged.

It is hard to understand what you are writing.

Sorry I was on my phone outside for most of this. Now aux battery is at 11.4 so battery is low needs to be replaced. so I have connected my truck battery to the car I know the truck battery is good but the result is the same with the p-lock. Truck battery reads 12.5 volts

Start checking the fuses, and maybe try clearing the codes before scanning it once again. Are the above DTCs current?

Do all of the lights work; dash, dome, etc.

Generic OBD2 scanners rarely work well, or will return false codes (DTCs), it would be best to only use techstream.

What are the current DTCs (obd2 codes) again?

where would you focus? im thinking power source control. or ECM(Engine) either a fuse is blown or relay. would you happen to know which I should check? I see the prius ECM goes for 30 to 100 bucks on ebay. Even if this is the issue do I need to reprogram it? if so is it hard to do?

ON a side note this bothers me the only reason for a height difference in piston travel height is a bent rod worn bearing right as the car runs fine. Just the misfires here and there.

    And #4 lower?

How about a new short block? They’re about 2 grand though.

    Now the compression was 190?

    Haven't you already sourced a 2016 gen4 engine with 10k miles?

Are you planning on using the old gen3 egr and intake as others have done?

Do you have a mechanic that is doing this swap for you?
