Thanks. They are applying 3M 1080 gloss black vinyl. Hopefully this is a good brand that will endure Oregon weather as well as carwashes. Any experience with the 3M products?

3M is the best product! I have it on my tint and vinyl. Always had 3M last a very long time! The roof will last around 4 years of you take good care of it. Vinyl isn’t a perminate solution.. only tempary just remember that . That what paint is for

I swapped to 16" rims with 205/55R16 RunFlat summer tires and experienced 10-12% drop in EV range ( 4.4-4.5KWh/mile vs. 5.0-5.2 KWh/mile on stock wheels) on the same commute route and same driving style.
Nevertheless the car handles way way better and gives 'incentives' to drive more aggressively so.... EV range drops further but more fun to drive.
    Hope that helps.

Your 10-12% drop in EV range is MUCH more a fact of RunFlat added weight than anything else. Using a RunFlat on a PP is a mistake based on the needed *steel cord*, the needed steel cord adds a lot of unsprung weight.

Here's an example of the same two Nokian 205/55-16 tires, one is a regular tire & the other is a RunFlat; Look At The Whopping Weight Difference Of 7.6 lbs between them. So if you had a new aftermarket 16" wheel at 17 lbs & the above regular Nokian at 17.6 lbs, you'd be at a very good weight of 34.6 lbs, now if you add the RunFlat you're at 42.2 lbs which is crazy heavy on a PP.
