I ordered part number 89994-48142 today for my 2012 Advanced PiP. I searched for it on eBay, and the sellers there list it as compatible with all trim levels of CT200h. One of my coworkers just leased a 2013 Ct200h F-Sport and his smart key has 14ACX on it, the same as mine, so it SHOULD work.

I'll make the attempt to get it added as soon as I can, and will post here if it works.

Looking forward to it. The SKS watch was a bit of a stretch but the Lexus SKS "wallet sized key" would work. How much does it cost?

I saw a couple on eBay, ranging from $250-$300. I'm getting it for less, working at a dealership has it's perks. ;-)

You can't use Remote AC then right? I can't imagine having a button on credit card size.

It's a little thicker than the battery. ;)

So, no, not as thin as a credit card.

There's a previous thread here somewhere, Lexus card key. Too lazy to Google it on my smartphone though. :p

I don't think anyone got it working on the regular hatchback Prius though.

I received it today, it's pretty cool looking. About as thick as 2 or 3 credit cards stacked. I never use the remote A/C, but if I wanted to, I could always trigger it from the phone app, which has more range anyway.
It doesn't have 14ACX on the bottom, which makes me nervous, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. We had a customer with an LS460 that didn't come with a credit card key, but the owner saw it in the manual, and ordered one and had it programmed. It worked, even though the catalog said it was not applicable to his vehicle with the VIN in. If it doesn't work, I can return it.

Great news! It worked like a charm! I no longer have to carry the factory key around with me!

The tech said the car made him go through a "Market Health Test" before it would let him do anything with the car. Once he did the test, he was able to add the key on the first try. Smart entry and start work just like the factory key.

That's awesome! Think something like this will ever work with the base model?

Does the base model have SKS? If so, then it should work.

I think the take home message is that part number 89994-48142 is a 14ACX specification fob. If your current fob says 14ACX, then this card key version is compatible. The mechanical key in the card is probably not compatible with the Prius.

That is incorrect Rob. The FCC ID on this card is HYQ14AEB.The card doesn't come with an emergency key, but I am ordering a blank one which I will have cut to my Toyota key code.

??? So is your ordinary keyfob a 14AEB??? Or is it a 14ACX and the card type 14AEB also works? The part number for a Prius style mechanical key that fits the card is ??
