I tried searching but I am wondering if the CT200H Key is able to be used for my 2012 Prius. They 3 button shell looks the same. I think I can just transfer the inside board into the lexus key and have the key cut by a locksmith. Anyone else do this?

Interesting; I will hold in the back bleachers to see what would be this outcome.

The answer is YES that Lexus shell works on a Prius.
My used one that I programmed for my Prius came with a leather cover. (That program mod is in another post.)

The key is not exact (see picture) so that requires more research.

My Lexus case has a trunk release button that is not usable if you switch the Prius into it, so the button floats with no click. I just tried it.

Also the LED lights up in the Lexus case no problem when you hit a button on the Prius electronics inside.

Thank you rrg! That's exactly what I was looking for.

Bisco the Lexus key feels way more quality compared to the Prius key.
