Li-ion and Ni-Cad batteries treated as one?

    Very true about Colorado, but if they wanted to go to a ocean beach I dare them to make it in 1 1/2 hour car ride. And yes ...to each ther own... That's why some of us drive a PIP and some a Pick Up!

    Correct. Built in 1940 because Route 66 which meandered through town was too slow to get back to downtown LA. Pasadena in the 1940s was one of the original suburbs. The wealthy had weekend homes up there. But the commuters needed a faster thoroughfare which could handle more traffic.

    It isn't a very effective freeway for todays standard speeds. They will eventually have to tear it out and build something new. Unfortunately the downtown LA area is a twist and turn of freeways as they meander through the hills. The 110 is the most direct route to Pasadena.
