Liftgate garnish - replace or repair?

    See photos: would this be a full replacement of the liftgate garnish, or can I do a little DIY fix job? Looks like the prime suspect is the plastic ripping off just above what seems to be a screw?

    Yes, the car is dirty, I'm cleaning it today (y)

    I repaired mine by drilling holes through the exterior of the garnish at the same angle of the original square top bolts.
    I bought two M5 bolts with the same thread that are about 2 3/8” long, four 1” washers, and two rubber gaskets. I reused the factory nuts.
    Look at my photos and let me know if you have any questions.
    It feels really solid now.
