I have a 2007 Prius, the liftgate handle is coming off, the original clasps are not holding it on properly. Does anyone know the size of the screw and bolt that I would need to replace those with? Thanks.

It's not replacing a screw, it's broken. You need to replace the entire handle.

Some people have found creative ways to glue/putty/bolt down the handle, but the proper repair is to replace it.

BTW, it is not a handle, it is a decorative strip. When you use it as a handle, it breaks. The liftgate should be lifted by pressing up on the switch, and then if necessary grab the bottom edge of the liftgate, as it comes up, and lift from there.

It came broken. We purchased the vehicle used. I don't pull on the handle if I can't help it. My hand always tries to pull up on the bottom of the hatchback, not the handle.

that trim piece is done, you can try all the epoxy in the world

it's easier and faster just to buy a trim piece of the same color. Just remember that there are both screws and clips, the screws gotta come off then the trim piece can be removed by pulling away
