like these velour seat covers ? Why doesn't Toyota make them?

    I'd disagree. There's nothing special about these covers and if Toyota sold them they'd be more expensive. Toyota can't compete with the aftermarket for this sort of non-differentiated product. Toyota loses trying to 'out-Pep Boys' Pep Boys.

    I really don't know much about seat covers... never shopped for them before. guess i was wrong about these covers.

    I'm not looking at the velour anymore... I am looking at the Hawaiian print with neoprene on Sheer Comfort Seat Covers and I like them better than these...

    I like the velour fabric but I also like 80's and 90's jdm cars. Depending on how these black softex seats treat me during the summer and winter time i'd consider getting some slip-ons. :LOL:
