looking to replace 12v

    im going to be replacing my 12v battery very soon and was looking up videos and etc and my battery seems to have something on it that i havent seen in any in the videos/images so i was wondering what its for and if its needed and etc also seems has another wire connected to ground on the body

    that looks aftermarket, are you the original owner?

    you need a battery that fits properly, has the correct post size and orientation, and a vent tube connection.

    toyota oem $200. or pep boys currently $150. and better if you can find one. and there are others.

    Pop the yellow cap off. Wonder if it's a manual or remote control disconnect?

    not the original owner but i did buy a acdelco acdb24r advantage agm battery from amazon just waiting for it to arrive
